SERVICE VEHICLE SOON Indicator

IPC illuminates SERVICE VEHICLE SOON (electrical system indicator) when one of the following occurs:

• Body Control Module (BCM) detects certain malfunctions in lighting or horn system. IPC receives a class 2 message from BCM requesting illumination.
• Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects certain non-emissions related malfunctions. IPC receives a class 2 message from PCM requesting illumination.
