LOW OIL Indicator

IPC illuminates the LOW OIL indicator when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a low engine oil level condition (signal circuit is high). IPC receives a class 2 message from PCM requesting illumination. LOW OIL indicator illuminates for 60 seconds at start of each ignition cycle when low engine oil level condition is present. IPC sends a class 2 message to body control module to activate an audible warning.
