Turn Signal Reminder

BCM sounds turn signal reminder once per each flash of turn signal lights when following conditions are met:

• Ignition switch is in RUN position.
• Turn signal switch is in either left turn or right turn position (BCM senses a turn signal ON signal through IPC class 2 serial data link in past 2 seconds).
• Vehicle has traveled a distance of .75 mile as determined by BCM, sensing vehicle speed signals through PCM class 2 serial data link.

BCM keeps turn signal reminder active until one of the following conditions is met:

• Ignition switch is in OFF position.
• Turn signal switch returns to OFF position (BCM does not sense a turn signal ON signal through IPC class 2 serial data link in past 2 seconds).
