To Close From Vent Position

To close power sun roof from vent position, turn ignition switch to RUN position, with the engine off. Press and hold power sun roof switch (rearward portion). This will apply power sun roof switch low reference to the power sun roof switch open signal circuit (5-volt reference) input, pulling reference voltage down to zero volts. As long as power sun roof module sees a constant input request from power sun roof switch open signal circuit (zero volts), module will continue to lower rear of glass (downward) to closed position. Power sun roof glass will stop (soft stop) at closed position based on inputs from limit switches. Sunshade will have to be manually slid closed.
