Express Open

Express open will work only with power sun roof glass between closed and partially open positions. To express open power sun roof, turn ignition switch to RUN position, with engine off. Press power sun roof switch (rearward portion) once for less than 1.5 seconds. This will apply power sun roof switch low reference to power sun roof switch signal open signal circuit (5-volt reference) input, pulling reference voltage down to zero volts momentarily. Momentary zero volts input to power sun roof control module indicates an express open request. Power sun roof glass will lower slightly, then begin to automatically slide (express open) between roof and headliner, allowing wind deflector to raise upward. Power sun roof glass will stop (soft stop) at full open position based on inputs from limit switches. Sunshade will open as power sun roof glass expresses opens. To stop power sun roof glass in a desired position other than express open position, as power sun roof is expressing open, press power sun roof switch again (in either direction) or press and hold power sun roof switch (rearward portion) for more than 1.5 seconds until power sun roof glass reaches the desired position.
