If DTC B2617 is a history DTC, fault may be intermittent. Wiggle wiring and harness connectors during test to check for intermittent connections. An intermittent malfunction could be set by an open or short to ground in White wire between courtesy light and Body Control Module (BCM), an intermittent open or short to ground in courtesy light, or an internal BCM open or short to ground.
