WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate
AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
The instrument panel cluster uses an analog speedometer/odometer, fuel gauge, coolant temperature gauge and tachometer. Warning indicators include: air bag, anti-lock, automatic transaxle control position, brake, change oil soon, charge, coolant temperature, cruise, door/trunk ajar, seat belt, high beam, low coolant, low fuel, low oil level, low tire pressure, low traction, traction off, low washer fluid, oil pressure, PERF SHIFT (on Regal 3.8L VIN 1), SECURITY, SERVICE ENGINE SOON, SERVICE VEHICLE SOON, turn signal and exterior lighting indicators. Some models have a driver information center which includes a boost indicator.
