Oil Level System Inoperative

NOTE: DTC B0093 sets if bulb test between oil level module and IPC fails.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) connectors C1 and C2. See Figure and Figure . Connect a test light between IPC connector C1, terminal F15, to IPC connector C2, terminal A8. Turn ignition on.
  2. If test light does not light, go to next step. If test light lights, check IPC connector C1, terminals E15 and F15, and connector C2, terminal A8 for good terminal contact. If circuits are okay, replace IPC.
  3. Measure voltage between IPC connector C1, terminal F15 and ground. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check Pink wire for an open or short circuit to ground.
  4. Disconnect PCM connector C2. Measure resistance between PCM connector terminal No. 7 and instrument panel cluster connector C2, terminal A8. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, problem is in PCM circuit. See TESTS W/CODES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If resistance is not 5 ohms or less, check Tan/Black wire for an open circuit.
