Low Washer Fluid Indicator Inoperative
- Disconnect washer fluid level switch connector, located on washer fluid reservoir in engine compartment. Turn ignition to RUN position. Measure voltage between Black wire terminal at washer switch connector and ground. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, measure voltage across washer fluid level switch connector terminals. If battery voltage is present, check washer fluid level switch connections. If connections are okay, replace washer fluid level switch. If battery voltage is not present, check Black wire for open.
- If battery voltage was not present at Black wire terminal in step 1), check for open or short to ground in Black wire circuit. Check instrument cluster connector C1 for proper connection. See Figure. Check in-line connector for proper connection. If Black wire circuit and all connections are okay, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
