LOW OIL Indicator On, Oil Level Okay

  1. Disconnect low oil level sensor. Connect a fused (3-amp) jumper wire between low oil level sensor connector terminals. Turn ignition on. If low oil indicator comes on, check oil level input circuit for a short to ground. Repair as necessary. See appropriate WIRING DIAGRAM .
  2. Check oil level indicator ground circuit for an open or short to battery voltage. If input and ground circuits are okay, replace PCM. If low oil indicator does not come on, replace low oil level sensor.
