4L60-E Transmission: Installation

- To install, reverse removal procedure. Align index marks made during removal. Tighten torque converter-to-flexplate bolts finger tight, then tighten to specification. Tighten other nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Rotate torque converter by hand to ensure it rotates freely. Adjust shift linkage. See ADJUSTMENTS in TRANSMISSION SERVICING - A/T article.
