Speedometer Does Not Operate Properly

Connect scan tool. Turn ignition on. Select IPC data menu. If VEHICLE SPEED reading of scan tool is same as speedometer on IPC, see appropriate BASIC TESTING - 3.8L article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If VEHICLE SPEED reading of scan tool is not same as speedometer reading of IPC, replace IPC.
