Security Indicator Is On

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect IPC connector. Turn ignition on. Measure resistance between IPC connector terminal B6 and ground. See Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace IPC. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Check Dark Green wire between instrument panel electrical center connector terminal F11 and IPC connector terminal B6 for short to ground. See WIRING DIAGRAM  . If short to ground exists, locate and repair as necessary. If short to ground does not exist, see appropriate ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM article.
