Diagnostic Trouble Codes: B0530: Description

DTC B0530 is set when fuel input does not fluctuate up or down for one liter or 100 miles. Fuel level sender has a resistance range from 40 ohms (below empty) to 250 ohms (above full). A class 2 message will be sent to PCM indicating a failure. Fuel gauge pointer will go to its lowest position and low fuel LED will not be illuminated when this code is present.
