Removal & Installation

Remove rear brake shoes. See REAR BRAKE SHOES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Disconnect inlet tube nut and line. Plug opening in line to prevent fluid loss and contamination. Remove wheel cylinder bolts and wheel cylinder. SeeFigure . To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply sealant between wheel cylinder mounting face and backing plate. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
