Shock Absorbers: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. On vehicles with air shock absorbers, pressurize system to about 12 psi (.8 kg/cm² ) before lowering vehicle to ground. On all vehicles, before tightening upper nuts, fully lower vehicle to ground (load suspension). Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table. DO NOT exceed 90 psi (6.3 kg/cm² ) in air shock absorbers.
