Suspension - Rear: Description
Suspension consists of an axle assembly with attached control arms, coil springs, shock absorbers, upper spring insulators and spring compression bumpers. See Fig 1. Axle assembly pivots on rubber control arm bushings. Hub and bearing assembly is a sealed unit and cannot be serviced. Some vehicles are equipped with a serviceable stabilizer shaft that is attached to the axle beam and control arms.
