Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Installation

  1. Install camshaft bearings (if removed). Ensure oil holes are aligned. Apply Sealant (1052914) to camshaft rear plug prior to installation. Lubricate camshaft with GM Lubricant (1052365) prior to installation.
  2. Install camshaft. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Ensure components are installed in original location and timing marks are aligned.
