Entering BCM Diagnosis

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Simultaneously depress OFF and WARM buttons on Electronic Climate Control Panel (ECCP).
  2. Continue to depress OFF and WARM button until all segments and bulbs of the IPC, the Driver Information Center (DIC) and ECCP illuminate. When all segments are lit, system has entered self-diagnostic mode. Release OFF and WARM buttons. Trouble code display can be by-passed at any time by depressing FAN DOWN button on ECCP.
  3. After trouble codes have been by-passed, the SERVICE MODE system can be directed to perform specific system diagnostic tests. Display the desired system (BCM) by depressing the FAN DOWN button. Select the desired system (BCM) by depressing the FAN UP button.
  4. After diagnostic system has been selected for testing, select DATA? test. To advance display, depress FAN DOWN button. When desired test type is displayed, depress FAN UP button. After test type selection, depress FAN DOWN or FAN UP button as necessary to access appropriate BCM diagnostic test.
