Service Engine Soon Indicator

The SERVICE ENGINE SOON indicator warns that an engine problem needs service. With ignition switch in RUN position (engine not running), indicator will turn on as a bulb test. When engine is started, indicator should turn off. If PCM detects an engine problem, Brown/White wire to IPC is grounded and SERVICE ENGINE SOON light is illuminated. IPC provides battery voltage to the indicator and PCM controls indicator.
