Cruise & Resume Indicators

The cruise indicator is controlled by BCM through serial data line. BCM will command the CRUISE indicator on when vehicle is cruising at a set speed greater than 25 MPH.

The RESUME indicator is also controlled by the BCM through the serial data line. BCM will command the RESUME indicator on when the brake pedal is depressed in the cruise mode. This is a reminder to push the RESUME switch to enter cruise mode again.

PCM receives all inputs from cruise control system, and communicates them through serial data line to BCM. BCM then controls the indicators through serial data line.
