Oil Pump: Inspection
- Inspect components for damage. Measure gear end clearance. Measure housing gear pocket depth and diameter. Measure outer gear-to-housing clearance and tip clearance between gears.
- Check clearance between pressure regulator valve and bore. Replace components or pump assembly if not within specification. See OIL PUMP SPECIFICATIONS table.
