Oil Pressure Gauge Display Test
- Disconnect oil pressure sending unit connector. Turn ignition switch to "RUN". Using voltmeter check terminal "A" for 5 volts. See Figure . If 5 volts, go to step 2). If not, check wire from "A" terminal. If wire okay, replace instrument cluster.
- Jumper terminal "A" to ground. Observe oil pressure display. It should read low pressure. If not, check Tan wire (circuit No. 31) and Tan/White wire (circuit No. 231). If wires okay, replace instrument cluster.
