Coolant Temperature Display

The coolant temperature sending unit monitors engine temperature. Resistance in sending unit changes from 1365 ohms at 100°F (38°C) to 55 ohms at 260°F (127°C). Temperature is displayed through a 21-segment bar graph. When bar graph changes from 15 to 16 segments, an audible alarm sounds and the coolant temperature warning indicator lights.
