Indicator Always On

  1. Check oil pressure. If oil pressure is correct, remove connector from oil pressure switch. Connect a fused jumper wire between Tan wire and battery. If indicator goes out, replace oil pressure switch. If indicator remains on, check for battery voltage at instrument panel Pink/Black wire.
  2. If voltage is not present, check circuit back to fuse. Check resistance to ground at Tan wire. Reading should be between 5 and 50 ohms. If resistance is incorrect, check that Tan wire at oil pressure relay is grounded. If wiring is okay, replace oil pressure relay.
