Gauge Reads High With Engine Off

Remove connector from oil pressure sending unit. Connect Tan/Black wire to ground. If gauge now reads low, wiring is good. Replace oil pressure sending unit. If gauge still reads high, locate and repair open in Tan/Black wire between sending unit and cluster.
