Instrument Cluster (Dimming)

With light switch off, no voltage is applied to Brown wire. The digital displays at maximum brightness. With light switch in "PARK" or "HEAD", battery voltage is applied to dim enable input at instrument panel.

Voltage is also applied through instrument panel dimmer and "INST LPS" fuse to display dim input. Voltage applied to dim display input varies as dimmer knob is moved. The digital display dims as the voltage is reduced.
