Coolant Temperature Display

Voltage is applied from instrument cluster to the coolant temperature sending unit. The coolant temperature sending unit resistance changes with engine temperature. Resistance varies from 1.5 ohms with a cold engine, to less than 77 ohms with a hot engine.
