Special Handling Procedure

These are guidelines that should be followed in order to prevent the chance of ESD damage:

• Do not open package until it is time to install component.
• Avoid touching electrical terminals of the component.
• Before removing the component from its package, ground package to a known good ground on vehicle.
• Always touch a known good ground before handling component. This should be repeated while handling the component and more frequently after sliding across seat, sitting down from the standing position, or walking a distance.
