Removal & Installation

1) Place gear selector in "L" and tilt wheel all the way

down (if equipped). Firmly grasp left trim cover on both sides and

pull straight out. Remove 4 screws holding cluster carrier to

instrument panel.

2) Disconnect speedometer cable from engine compartment (if

a 2-piece cable is used) or from transmission. Remove steering column

trim cover. Disconnect shift indicator clip. Lower steering column.

3) Pull cluster forward far enough to disconnect speedometer

cable and wired bulb sockets. With gear selector in "L", pull cluster

out far enough to remove screw holding vehicle speed sensor optic

head to speedometer. Remove cluster. To install, reverse removal

procedure.
