Turbo Boost Switch Test

  1. Disconnect turbo indicator switch connector. Place ignition switch in "RUN" position. Using a jumper wire, connect White/Black wire to ground. If economy indicator light comes on, go to next step. If not, check White/Black wire for an open circuit.
  2. Using jumper wire, connect Blue/Yellow wire to ground. If power indicator light comes on, replace turbo boost indicator switch. If light still does not work properly, see appropriate article in COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS section. If power indicator light does not come on, check Blue/Yellow wire for an open circuit.
