Instrument Cluster Dimmer Test

  1. Disconnect instrument cluster C2 connector. Place light switch in "PARK" position. Vary dimmer switch position while making voltage measurements. Connect test light between Gray wire and Black/White wire. If test light brightness varies with dimmer switch position, go to next step. If not, replace dimmer switch.
  2. Connect test light between Brown wire and Black/White wire. If test light comes on, replace instrument cluster. If test light does not come on, check Brown wire for an open circuit.
