Fuel Gauge Display Inaccurate

  1. Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit connector. Connector is located behind rear bumper. Connect a known good fuel gauge sending unit to harness. Place ignition switch in "RUN" position and observe fuel gauge.
  2. Move sending unit float up and down. If fuel display is correct, remove fuel tank and replace fuel gauge sending unit. If fuel display is incorrect, replace instrument cluster.
