Description & Operation: Notes
The electronic digital cluster uses a microcomputer to display data on instrument cluster. The warning indicators are on when ignition switch is in "RUN", "BULB TEST" or "START" positions. They go out when engine starts.
With ignition switch in "RUN", "BULB TEST" or "START" positions, the digital displays come on as a display test. The temperature and fuel display bar graph segments light sequentially from left to right. The display lasts up to 3 seconds.
The bar graphs then go off, from right to left, until current readings are displayed. The speedometer also displays current data. In operation, when the displays read at the extreme right or left side of their ranges, the underlined segments flash. The speedometer will flash at speeds over 85 MPH.
