Charts A-19 To A-21: Anti-Lock Light & Stoplight CKT

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 1988 Cadillac Fleetwood, 1988 Cadillac DeVille, 1987 Cadillac Fleetwood, 1987 Cadillac DeVille, and 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. "ANTI-LOCK" light is powered by 20-amp gauge fuse. Light is turned on (grounded), if main relay is not enabled by EBCM or EBCM detects fault in system (pin No. 27). A diode protects EBCM pin No. 27 and "ANTI-LOCK" light circuit from current overload.
  2. Stoplight switch power is directed to EBCM (pin No. 12) whenever brake pedal is depressed. This informs EBCM to increase sensitivity to wheel sensor input signal.
