Chart G, Solenoid Valve Operational Test

The purpose of this chart is to hydraulically verify operation of the solenoid valves (as opposed to electrical operation only). In order to accomplish this, the physical operation must be checked by actuating the valves using Pinout Box (J-35592). See ABS Code 22 and 23 text for more information on valve circuit operation.
- The following test may be performed for individual pairs of solenoids valves (as directed by the appropiate diagnostic procedure), or for all sensors as a system check.
- To set up for test: - Install J-35592. - Raise car so that Wheels clear the ground. - An inssistant may be required to spin wheels.
- IMPORTANT: DO NOT leave ignition on for more than 30 seconds with jumper wires install as described below. Solenoid valves damage may result.
- The Following Test May Be Performed For Individual Pairs Of Solenoid Valves (As Directed By The Appropriate Diagnostic Procedure) Or For All Sensors As A System Check
- To Set Up For Test: - Install J-35592 Pinout Box - Raise Car So That Wheels Clear The Ground - An Assistant May Be Required To Spin The Wheels
- IMPORTANT: Do Not Leave Ignition On For More Than 30 Seconds With Jumper Wires Installed As Described Below, Solenoid Valve Damage May Result
