Chart F1, RR Sensor Output

  1. Wheel Speed Sensors (WSS), that have an output of less than 50mV in Test F should be checked. Also any large differences in output between 2 sensors on the same axle (right/left front or right/left rear) should be checked.
  2. Signal strength of wheel sensor depends primarily on sensor gap. Low output is often caused by improper sensor mounting (including excessive gap), damaged sensor or wiring harness problems. It is important when replacing or servicing sensor to use anti-corrosive compound (P/N 1051344) between sensor and knuckle.
