Chart E2, Abs Lamp Dim

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 14 other vehicles, including the 1990 Pontiac Bonneville, 1990 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight, 1990 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight, 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood, and 1990 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. This chart deals with dim or no operation of "Anti-Lock" lamp during engine cranking. During cranking the lamp should ground through disengaged main relay.
  2. Failure to turn on during cranking may indicate an open in lamp wiring, an open in main relay ground circuit through pin No. 3, or an open anti-lock diode. This condition could prevent the "ANTI-LOCK" lamp from turning on during an anti-lock failure.
