Chart E1, Abs Lamp Inoperative

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 14 other vehicles, including the 1990 Pontiac Bonneville, 1990 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight, 1990 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight, 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood, and 1990 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

"ANTI-LOCK" lamp is powered through a 20-amp fuse ( No. 16 in fuse block). Lamp is turned on (grounded), if main relay is not enabled by EBCM or EBCM detects fault in system (pin No. 27). A diode protects EBCM pin No. 27 and "ANTI-LOCK" lamp circuit from current overload. This chart deals with total failure to operate.
