Chart B6, Miscellaneous EBCM Inputs
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 14 other vehicles, including the 1990 Pontiac Bonneville, 1990 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight, 1990 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight, 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood, and 1990 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- The first circuit in this chart is the Diagnostic Enable. This consists of a circuit from EBCM pin No. 26 to ALDL (Assembly Line Diagnostic Link) pin H. Normally grounding ALDL pin H before turning on ignition, will cause the EBCM to go into diagnostic mode.
- The brake lamp switch receives power through Fuse No. 13. When the brake pedal is depressed a signal is sent on circuit 20 to EBCM pin No. 12. This causes the EBCM to increase its sensitivity to wheel speed sensor inputs.
