Removal & Installation
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 14 other vehicles, including the 1990 Pontiac Bonneville, 1990 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight, 1990 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight, 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood, and 1990 Cadillac DeVille. - On rear sensors, disconnect sensor connector in trunk area. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Remove 2 grommet retaining screws and sensor retaining bolt. Remove sensor.
- On front sensors, disconnect sensor connector located near shock tower. Remove sensor retaining screw. Remove sensor. To install front or rear sensor, reverse removal procedure.
- Front wheel sensor is NOT adjustable. Adjust rear wheel sensor air gap to specification. See WHEEL SENSOR AIR GAP table. Ensure sensor wiring is routed correctly as to avoid contact with suspension components.
