Charts A-5 & A-6: EBCM Loop CKT

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1988 Pontiac Bonneville. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. EBCM loop circuit consists of pressure switch and fluid level switch. Switches are normally closed. If fault is indicated by either switch, loop is opened, and "ANTI-LOCK" warning light will come on. ABS will deactivate front wheels.
  2. Pressure switch detects low accumulator pressure. Pressure switch will open when pressure is below 1500 psi (10,350 kPa). Switch will close when pressure reaches 1900 psi (13,100 kPa). When fluid level is low, fluid level switch float opens circuit, turning warning light on.
