Temperature Indicator (Open Test)

  1. Disconnect temperature sender/switch connector and turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. Connect a fused jumper wire between Dark Green wire and ground. Coolant light should come on.
  2. If light illuminates, replace coolant temperature sender/switch. If light does not illuminate, check Dark Green wire and instrument cluster printed circuit for an open.
