Temperature Gauge (Short Test)
- Disconnect the coolant temperature sender/switch connector and turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. If gauge reads cold, replace coolant temperature sender/switch.
- If gauge does not read cold, check instrument cluster printed circuit connector No. 1 terminal No. 6 for an open and Dark Green/White wires for short to ground. See Fig 1 . Replace coolant temperature gauge if wires are good.
