Temperature Gauge (Open Test)

  1. Disconnect the coolant temperature sender/switch. Ground Dark Green/Yellow wire at coolant temperature sender/switch connector.
  2. If gauge reads hot, check Dark Green/White and Dark Green/Yellow wires for an open. Replace coolant temperature gauge if wires are good.
