Oil Gauge (Short Test)
- Disconnect oil pressure sender/switch and turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. Gauge should show high pressure. If gauge does show high pressure, replace oil pressure sender/switch.
- If gauge does not show high pressure, check Tan wire to instrument panel for a short. Check instrument cluster printed circuit for flaws. Repair or replace oil pressure gauge if wire and printed circuit are okay.
