Oil Gauge (Open Test)
- Disconnect oil pressure sender/switch and turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. Connect a fused jumper wire between Tan wire and ground. Oil pressure gauge should show low pressure. If gauge does show low pressure, replace oil pressure sender/switch.
- If gauge does not show low pressure, check Tan wire and instrument cluster printed circuit for an open. If okay, repair or replace oil pressure gauge.
