Shorted Oil Pressure Switch Test

Disconnect Tan/Black wire from oil pressure switch. Place ignition switch in "RUN" position and observe oil pressure display. If oil pressure display reads at maximum oil pressure, replace oil pressure switch. If oil pressure display shows no pressure, check Tan/Black and Tan/White wires for a short to ground. If wires are okay, replace instrument cluster.
