Coolant Temperature Indicator Does Not Come On When Engine Overheats

Disconnect coolant temperature switch. Using a jumper wire, connect Dark Green wire to ground. Place ignition switch in "RUN" position. If indicator lights, replace coolant temperature switch. If indicator does not light, check Dark Green wire for an open circuit.
