Suspension - Rear (Fwd): Description
"C" and "H" bodies use an independent rear suspension that is supported by 2 lower control arms, coil springs and air adjustable struts. Stabilizer bar is used to minimize body roll. This suspension has control arms equipped with suspension adjustment links for toe adjustments. Both control arms are fitted with ball joints. Electronic Level Control (ELC) is standard equipment on all "C" bodies and optional on "H" bodies.
Each rear wheel is connected to the crossmember by the knuckle, through a hub and bearing assembly, air adjustable struts and lower control arms. A rear stabilizer bar is optional. Electronic Level Control (ELC) is used to maintain rear riding height for a wide range of vehicle load conditions.
